Cortina is getting ready to host the XXV Olympic Games in 2026, which will take place from 6 to 22 February. For the first time in the history of the Games there are two designated cities, co-hosting the event together: Milan and Cortina D’Ampezzo.
The Milan-Cortina Games will be the IV Olympic Games to be held in Italy (the third winter games), after Cortina d’Ampezzo 1956, Rome 1960 and Turin 2006.
